Trilogy Analytical Laboratory is one of the world’s largest producers of naturally contaminated reference material.  Trilogy’s international network affords it the opportunity to obtain low level and high level naturally contaminated materials in a wide range of analytes and matrices.  These materials are ground, sieved to a uniform particle size, and blended using the Trilogy proprietary blending techniques developed over the last 16 years.  This naturally contaminated material is then packaged, tested, and used for proficiency testing items and reference material.  Naturally contaminated materials (NCMs) are real world samples unlike artificially fortified samples. The analytes of NCMs are embedded into the matrix of the item allowing for a true and total evaluation of participant proficiency.
